Jamar
Jamar is an extraordinarily talented young table tennis player, who through dedication, hard work and natural ability has surpassed all expectations to date. We awarded Jamar funding in 2019 to fund a programme of one to one coaching from a nationally and internationally ranked table tennis player and for him to attend group elite training sessions.
February 2022
In February 2022 Brighton Table Tennis Club travelled to Fusion TTC for a Friday night training session and to catch up with Jamar at his new club after his recent move back to London.
John Dennison is the Head Coach and Manager at Fusion Table Tennis Club where Jamar is now training in South Bermondsey.
Tim Holton, Founder of Brighton Table Tennis Club said: "Thanks so much for the continued support from The Starr Trust of Jamar with his Table Tennis. I look forward to seeing Jamar on the national tournament circuit continuing to improve. He has been invited after qualifying to play in the Senior National Championships in Nottingham in a few weeks time. This is for the top 32 Senior Men in England. It is so good that John and Fusion TTC can support him to carry on playing now he is back in London."
