WINTER EXTRAVAGANZA RAISES £48,219

We kicked off the festive season early this year with a brilliant fundraising evening. Held at the Hilton Brighton Metropole on 16th November, 270 guests filled the Ballroom which glittered and sparkled thanks to Kate Carlisle from Blue Monkey Events and David Hill from E3 Events.

The ‘Winter Extravaganza: 80’s Rewind’ featured entertainment from the hugely talented Starr Trust Singers and some fabulous compèring from the lovely Alli Ferns from BBC Radio Sussex. The cast wore dazzling costumes and put on a spectacular show with live music, dancing to legendary 80’s anthems. Guests were treated to a champagne reception followed by a delicious 3-course dinner and late night disco, and the evening ran like clockwork thanks to Sascha Koehler and his wonderful team at the Hilton Brighton Metropole.

"We are incredibly grateful to everyone that came and supported us, and the evening raised a phenomenal £48,219 which is the highest amount we’ve ever raised from any event. We couldn’t have managed this without our generous sponsors Drum Technologies, IEP Financial, SEICO Mortgages and Curation Corporation as well as the continued support of Gemini Print. Local businesses also donated truly fantastic prizes for our auction which all helped raise money for the young people of Sussex."
