We Need Your Help!

18th February 2016We are looking for students who are currently studying Costume and Fashion Design who would like to showcase their work in a competition to be judged by industry experts.The event will be held on Sunday 22nd May 2016 as part of the Brighton Festival at the Brighton Hilton Metropole. The Event

To be held on Sunday 22 May 2016 at the Hilton Brighton Metropole starting at 5pm.Entry costs £7 (entry only) or £15 VIP including a reserved seat and goody bag.The contestants will all be students in training in hair, makeup, textiles and bodypaintJudges will then grade by:

• Best hair design
• Best makeup
• Best body painting
• Best clothing design
• Best overall look

This will not only allow students to showcase their work, but enable them to potentially gain employment.Local businesses will have the opportunity to set up stalls to promote and sell their products or do demonstrations to attract future business (donating a percentage of their takings for the day to the Starr Trust).There will entertainment during the interval (singers and a professional dance troupe).
