A Brighton digital marketing agency recently helped support local youngsters with an interteam challenge set by their employers.Staff at ThoughtShift, based in Montpelier Road, were split into two teams to compete to see who could come up with innovative ways to raise the most for two local charities; one of which was the Starr Trust. The winners of the challenge were the Blue Team, who raised £1394.70 for the Trust.AJ Coutts, Managing Director and Co-Founder of the company says; “The team worked really hard organising several fundraising initiatives throughout the year and we are really proud of them. We have been overwhelmed by the support and appreciation received from the Starr Trust and fully support their mission to help young people fulfil their potential, something very close to our own values of educating and supporting both staff and customers, and are very excited about continuing to support them in 2014/15.”The Blue team’s fundraising strategy included a cake sale, a fashion show at the Theatre Royal, Brighton and a kid’s fun day at Churchill Square, where they raced mechanical fluffy pigs!ThoughtShift are continuing to support the Starr Trust by welcoming them on board as a client and they will be donating their expertise and dedicating some time each month to help them with their online fundraising campaigns amongst other things.Charlie from the Starr Trust says; “The support we have received from ThoughtShift has gone above and beyond anything we could have hoped for. It is a pleasure to work with such a committed and passionate bunch of people, and we would like to say a heartfelt thanks which doesn’t even begin to express how grateful we are.”At our celebration night in October, ThoughtShift announced that they will be continuing to support the Starr Trust for a further year!
