Sussex Businesses Help to Raise Over £4000 for the Starr Trust

Sussex businesses helped to raise a whopping £4076 for the Starr Trust in February at Imperial China Worthing where 120 diners enjoyed a fabulous Evening of Rat Pack crooning from Dave Sinatra and Joe Dellow and delicious food from John Ip and his staff.Investment Solutions sponsored the evening and Ivan Lyons, Managing Director, told us “The team were delighted to support the Starr Trust for this event, helping local young people to fulfil their potential in sports, arts and education.”Nicky from the Starr Trust described how the Worthing restaurant had a full house and the atmosphere was electric. The overwhelming success of the evening was in part due to the generosity of Sussex businesses as well as that of the diners. The fabulous prizes donated for the auction included football tickets for the FA Cup Semi-Final, Dom Perignon champagne and tickets to theatre shows, which raised almost £3000.The Starr Trust champions young people from the BN postcode area and wants to reach out to as many individuals and families as it can. By hosting this event at Imperial China, the Starr Trust wants to let the local people of Worthing know that they can support and champion their children.
