Starr Trust go Whoopsadaisy!

Whoopsadaisy are a Sussex children’s charity who run services for children up to the age of 12 with physical disabilities such as cerebral palsy and other motor disorders. They aim to develop children’s independence, confidence and self-esteem through the provision of a system of learning called Conductive Education. They are the only charity in East Sussex to provide this life-changing system which, by building upon children’s existing abilities and skills, helps them tackle the challenges of everyday life more independently. The Starr Trust provided funding for Whoopsadaisy earlier this year to purchase some conductive equipment. On 28th November, Trish Starr from our Events Team was invited to visit Whoopsadaisy at their new home in Preston Park to see the children using this equipment.Trish said “It was inspirational to see the children interacting with the equipment we have funded – what an amazing group”.To find out more about Whoopsadaisy please visit their website.
