Starr Trust Cycle Challenge Weekend 2021 – Sussex & Surrey

9th - 10th October 2021

‍Join us for our two day bike ride over the weekend of 9th and 10th October. It will be a fun and challenging ride, leaving Brighton on Saturday morning taking in Ditchling Beacon, Leith Hill and Box Hill, all of which are in the top 100 Greatest Cycle Climbs in the UK.

We will spend the night in Surrey and return to Brighton on Sunday cycling via Goodwood, Arundel Castle, Bignor Roman Villa and the historic Bury Hill. As usual, there will be regular stops at some lovely pubs and cafes with support from our mechanic and we will carry your bags in our vehicle and keep you fed and watered through the day.  

The cost of this ride will be £175 which covers evening meal and breakfast and a night’s stay in the hotel, along with full support from us and the mechanic over the two days. The Starr Trust won’t make any money from this so any sponsorship/donations you can get will help us to continue to support the young people who need us in our area. We will leave from Withdean Stadium where overnight parking is available as required.  

We are still planning the Nice to Nîmes ride for 13 September 2022, so this weekend would be a chance to get to know some of the other riders and keep your fitness up.
