Starr 100 Bike Challenge - October 2020

Sadly we have had to postpone our Nice to Nîmes Bike Ride this September until 2021. With all our events cancelled this year, to continue supporting our existing Starrs, we need your help!‍

Join us on our Starr 100 Challenge

‍• 3 October 2020 - West Sussex Challenge - starting and finishing in Shoreham.

• 4 October 2020 – East Sussex Challenge – starting at Devil’s Dyke and ending at the i360.

• Entry is £100 for both days or £70 per day.

• If you have already paid your deposit for the Nice to Nîmes 2020 ride, your entry is free, we just ask you to raise some sponsorship. If you want to sign up now for the rescheduled ride for 2021, your entry fee will be waived.

• Sponsorship £100 or as much as you can raise.

Everyone will get a goody bag on completion with a tshirt and certificate.

You will be supported through the day with The Bike Side mechanic and Tracey and Rosie will have refreshments onboard and look after your belongings.

The ride will adhere to all government guidelines regarding Covid-19. Following recent UK Government announcements on Covid-19 restrictions in England, British Cycling has confirmed that all activity currently sanctioned under The Way Forward guidance can continue.

In discussion with Sport England and the Department of Culture, Media and Sport, British Cycling has agreed that these activities will be permitted because of the measures in place to reduce the risk of Covid-19. If you are showing coronavirus symptoms, or if you or any of your household are self-isolating, you should stay at home.

The Ride will be conducted in groups of six people or fewer, and riders will ride one metre apart with risk mitigations (i.e. the ride will be entirely outdoors and participants will not be face-to-face). Click here to read British Cycling's Covid-19 Guidance.
