Our Businesses of the month for January are Sodexo and i360.
Tracey Narvaez our Events Fundraising Manager said
"We have been lucky enough to have the support of the i360 and Sodexo over the past few years. The amazing team at Sodexo, led by Jason Musk and Event Manager Simon Huffenden, not only offer an amazing contribution to the community of Brighton but have supported the Starr Trust in so many ways. Last summer they chose us as their charity of choice and we worked with themselves and The Beach Club in providing Brighton seafront with an amazing weekend of live jazz, music and dance, raising over £5000! It was also a chance to show the amazing community spirit we have here in our city. Sodexo have donated some amazing prizes for our events, plus at Christmas Jason opened their doors for us to invite all our supporters, the mayor of Brighton and the cast of Dick Whittington for hot drinks and entertainment as we turned on the lights of The Upside-Down House. Whatever we need support with they are always happy to help and have introduced us to many local businesses who in turn have then supported us in other ways. Jason and Simon really are what Brighton is about and we thank them."
Laura Pauley from Sodexo told us
"BA i360 and Sodexo are committed to working with and supporting local charities, and over the three years that we have been operating together have made a significant contribution to the charitable sector. The Starr Trust has a fantastic reputation for going above and beyond in their efforts to help young people in our local community. We were happy to accommodate the Starr Trust for part of their Christmas lights switch-on event, in conjunction with the Upside-Down House, in December. We look forward to continuing to work with them in the future."
