Rat Pack at the China Garden raises £2680

The Starr Trust’s dinner at China Garden restaurant with live Rat Pack entertainers Joe Dellow and Dave Sinatra, plus auction, was a runaway success. The event was sold out weeks before taking place on the 27th February, with a full house of 124 guests enjoying fabulous food and fantastic live entertainment by the two crooners. Raising £2680 wasn’t the only highlight, with most of the guests getting up to dance to the flawless performances.Event co-ordinator, Tracey Narvaez, said about the event; “We were fortunate enough to have some fantastic professional performers who gave their time and talent to us for this fantastic evening. Adding to the mix, China Garden cooked fabulous food with service to match, making this truly a most enjoyable evening.”Winners of the auction bagged themselves;An overnight stay at ‘My Hotel’ Brighton with a set meal for two at the Chilli Pickle and tickets to “That Will Be the Day” at the Theatre Royal.

• 2 Tickets for “From Here to Eternity - The Musical”, London and a 3 Course Set Meal for Two and Bottle of Prosecco at “Number Twelve” Ambassadors Bloomsbury, London.
• 2 Tickets to see the amazing Ruthie Henshall at The Capitol, Horsham on Saturday 5th April and a delicious meal at Horsham’s Cotes.
• 2 Tickets for the unbelievable musical “We Will Rock You” at the Dominion Theatre London.

The raffle prizes included; East Brighton golf course, tickets for Proud Cabaret Brighton, Trevor Sorbie hair do, a night’s stay at Drakes Hotel and dinner at China Garden.
