Local Rock Choirs Raise £800 to Champion Young People!

The Starr Trust were delighted to be chosen as charity of choice at the Christmas Ball for members of the local Rock Choirs, held at the Holiday Inn, Brighton on the 1st December.The Rock Choirs from Brighton, Burgess Hill, Lewes, Hove, Haywards Heath and Eastbourne are led by Charlotte Fane-Barnett, who brought all the choirs together for their Christmas celebrations.Charlotte said “We were delighted to support the Starr Trust this Christmas. Last year, we had planned to sing for them at Brighton Pier, which was unfortunately rained off, although our fabulous members still clubbed together to give a donation! Rock Choir is all about community, and it seemed fitting to support this local charity to help young people in our area”.Tracey from the Starr Trust said “The Holiday Inn did a wonderful job helping us to organise this event. The room looked spectacular and really made everybody feel festive.
