Have a Flipping Great Day this Shrove Tuesday with our Pancake Recipe!

How will YOU fill YOUR pancake this Shrove Tuesday?We just love pancakes here at the Starr Trust—our favourite fillings include good old sugar and lemon, nutella and banana, and maple syrup and hazelnuts.

Our perfect pancake recipe

What you need:60g plain flourPinch of salt1 medium egg175ml milkOil for fryingFrying panMakes 6-81. Tip the flour and salt into a bowl.2. Lightly beat together the egg and milk. Pour over the flour mixture and whisk it into a smooth pancake batter.3. Lightly grease the base of your frying pan with oil.4. Pour a thin layer of batter over the base of the pan and cook it until the edges start to curl5. Flip your pancake to cook on the other side.6. Fill your pancake with your favourite filling and serve
