Evergreen Waste Management, the largest clearance service in Brighton & Hove, have kindly decided to choose the Starr Trust as their charity partner. They chose the Starr Trust as their preferred charity due to a long relationship with the Charity in Director Kurt’s previous career as a Chef when working at the Hilton. Over the years Kurt supported the Trust by being a mentor for students at Northbrook College in a competition called ‘Cooking for the Starrs’ which was always a great success and a much-loved date in the charity calendar of events.
Founders, well-respected local businessmen Kurt and Remzi, have generously agreed to donate 1% from all invoices to the Starr Trust. In addition, they will be participating in fundraising activities during the year and are currently discussing an exciting ‘Cooking for the Starrs’ event in the future!
Here’s why Evergreen Waste Management were keen to become a supporter…
Kurt Cutajar, Director of Evergreen Waste Management said: “We proudly support the Starr Trust because we believe in investing in the future of our communities. The Starr Trust's commitment to empowering young people through education, sports, and arts aligns closely with our own values of sustainability and community development. By supporting the Starr Trust, we are not only investing in the potential of young individuals but also contributing to building a stronger, more vibrant community for generations to come. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people and create a more sustainable and inclusive future.”
Tracey Starr, Fundraising Manager for the Starr Trust said: “We’re really excited to be working with Remzi and Kurt once again and are extremely grateful for their kind support. Whether you’re a homeowner or a business, we urge people to take a look at their fantastic business and are delighted to welcome them onboard our family of wonderful supporters.”
