We regret that we have had to cancel this event. We were so excited having seen your menus to get to try your amazing creations and see what was coming out of the Hilton kitchen. This event has always been so popular and this year was even better with the event having been sold out quite a while ago.But with the current Coronavirus situation and all the many restrictions including the college and the Hilton kitchens being closed we have no choice but to now cancel the competition! We have tried to wait as long as possible in the hope this would not be the case, but unfortunately this situation will not be resolved in time for the work needed to hold it this year.Unlike many of our events which we have postponed and plan to reschedule, with the students being in their last year and leaving the college we cannot do this in this case.We didn’t want to add any pressure to them personally or let it affect them finishing their course. We are still working behind the scenes supporting our young Starrs and working on upcoming fundraising. So we hope when life returns to some normality that they all get to pursue their dreams and carry on creating culinary delights!14th May 2020Two Teams of Students mentored by Kurt Cutajar, Regional Development Chef (UK & Ireland) at Hilton Brighton Metropole, go head to head in a cook off to compete to tantalise your taste buds!In association with Greater Brighton Metropolitan College14th May 20206.30pm6 course dinner (excluding drinks)£30 a headHilton Brighton Metropole, Kings Rd,Brighton BN1 2FUSponsored by Hilton Brighton Metropole. To book your place, contact tracey@starrtrust.com.
