Chelsea Building Society Help Champion Young People

Thank you to the Chelsea Building Society who supported the Starr Trust during their ‘Make a Difference Week’ charity event in August when their customers, colleagues and members of the public were asked to recommend a local good cause to be considered for support by the Yorkshire Building Society Charitable Foundation.2014 marked the Yorkshire Building Society Group’s 150th Anniversary and this year has been the most successful Make a Difference Week in their history with a total donation of £150,000 being given away to thousands of charities and worthy causes throughout the UK.The Starr Trust was one of 5 local charities chosen to receive an award of £100 at their Brighton office on 12th November 2014 by Branch Manager, Ian Baldwin.
