Apple Tree Nurseries - New Hove Early Years Nursery Opens its Doors

We were delighted to attend an event at the weekend at this exciting new nursery school in Connaught Road, Hove.

The team of staff from across all their nursery schools in Sussex gathered together to reunite for the first time since the pandemic to enjoy a night of team building in the outdoor space at their new setting, which is the 5th in their expanding group of schools. During the night, Apple Tree staff heard about the Starr Trust (their new chosen charity partner) from our Fundraising Managers, Rosie Molloy and Tracey Starr.

Already 2 staff, Daniela and Maxine, have signed up to running the Brighton Half Marathon and are fundraising for us (click here for more info) and, after hearing a presentation from the Trust on the night, a group of staff are now planning a sky-diving challenge in the near future!

Apple Tree Nurseries have generously committed to donating a percentage of all of their profits to the Starr Trust to support the work we do with young people who need our help later in their educational journeys.

Tracey Starr said: "It was an absolute pleasure and privilege to be asked to attend and speak at their event. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, you can see instantly why the families love their nursery schools.
